Independent Living
Lake Whatcom Center operates eight apartment complexes providing safe and affordable housing in the community. Most of our apartments are two bedrooms and are therefore shared with a roommate. All apartments are completely furnished and have laundry services. Lake Whatcom Center works with the Bellingham Whatcom County Housing Authority to help clients with rental assistance and subsidies.
Apartment Amenities
All apartments come fully furnished with:
1 loveseat
1 living room chair
1 coffee table and 1 end table
1 dining room table with 2 chairs
1 chair in each bedroom
1 twin bed per bedroom
1 dresser and 1 nightstand per bedroom
All apartment kitchens come with:
utensils and cooking equipment
1 refrigerator
1 oven
1 dishwasher
All properties have either on site laundry or a washer/dryer in unit
